Kerry received his Silver Star for action on 28 February, 1969. The spot reports for Feb-Mar 69 posted on his website do NOT have any report relating to 28 February (though there are two reports for 27 February). I find this peculiar. Has anyone seen the February spot reports from any source other than Kerry's website? Does a February 28 report exist? If it exists, why isn't it included with the others on Kerry's website? If it doesn't exist--well, why not (given there was hostile fire and hence there should have been a report). Could it perhaps contradict what was claimed in his Silver Star citations (emphasis on plural "citations"). If anyone has the 28 Feb report I'd like to add it to my collection.
