I apologize if this is the wrong forum, or if it has already been covered. I did a search and couldn't find this.

I was looking at Kerry's DD 214 and Line 27, which is titled "Wounds Received as a Result of Action with Enemy Forces", is filled in with "Not Applicable." Yet in his summary of awards, the 3 PH's are in there.

Is this something or not?

Good question, but I'll leave it up to our resident researchers to answer.
