Guys/Gals, I do believe that it's time to drag out the bandbox and get a trial convened to remove Kerry's right to all but (maybe) one PH, and to get him charged with TREASON for his activities while subject to the UCMJ.
Even McCain alluded to the fact that this behavior is appropriately includable in the current campaign.

I posted a similar question in another thread:
is there a shot that these issues will be raised in the debates?
... the things that ads 2 and 4 bring up.
"everybody" says this is fair game, but there's no way anybody will ask him blunt questions in debates ... look at the moderator list!
That's about the only way to get Kerry to directly address the issue. |

My thought was that, since LOTS! of people are watching the ads, a groundswell of support might be gathered via ads, letters to Govt agencies, etc could topple the movements to discredit Swiftvets and other non-kerry supporters.
there is lots of info available to enable charges to be brought, his conduct while in Naval Reserves, possible AWOL from meetings, conduct with N. Vietnam delegation in Paris, etc. At minimum he could be discredited enough to force withdrawl of his nomination, and possible impeachment from his Senate seat. _________________ kingfish-usn 64-68 once in country(12mo), 3 times uss ticonderoga (CVA-14) |

Sorry, kingfish. We've touched on this in earlier threads, and the opinion I've developed is that Kerry couldn't be charged under UCMJ. Reserve soldiers and sailors have the freedom to take part in political activities when they are not on duty, and that's what he was doing, distasteful though it may be. I haven't heard of charging someone with being AWOL after they have been honorably discharged. If you can find another case for precendent, then maybe there's something there.
I gather from the tone of John O'Neill's discussion with President Nixon, that the Nixon Administration disliked John Kerry enough to bring him up on charges if they thought they could win, but treason is a tough case to make. |

Everyone check out http://www.judicialwatch.com . They are persuing it. The reason it is proving near impossible to charge him under the 14th Amend, Art. 3, Sec. 3, is because the horrible things he said after he came home from Vietnam, or came here from his home in Vietnam, whichever way you see it, is because the things he said were in his "capacity" as member leader of Vietnam Veterans Against The War and not as himself as an individual, former Lt. J.G. john f. kerry. That's big time weak, but that's why he got away with it and was allowed to become a Senator in violation of UCMJ and the 14th Amendment. Judicial Watch and alot of people are trying to nail him on it. We need to get that word out and support them! |

I have checked out the possibility of charging Kerry under UCMJ and learned this is most likely not possible.
There is a issue of whether or not he was collecting any sort of salary from the Navy at the time. If anyone out there is a JAG officer I'd like to hear some input.
This said I'm off to read what Judicial watch is up to. |
