I've been searching, but can't really find any pix except exterior shots.
I'm interested in the interior of the boats.
Anyone know of any interior pix or diagrams of the layout?

Thanks, November. I wish the quality of the pdf was better, but with study I think I've got it.....thusly....
Forward, there were 6 bunks, 4 uppers and 2 lowers. Moving aft, there were 2 lockers or "cabinets", with the head under a lid in the stbd locker. 2 or 3 steps on centerline lead to the deckhouse, with a RV style galley and storage stbd, and a dinette in the port aft corner. I think there were storage cabinets to port of the dinette. Forward of the dinette was a railed ladder to the wheelhouse, which itself had entry from the main deck port and stbd. Above the wheelehouse was the twin.50 gun tub. At the aft extent of the deckhouse, 2 or 3 steps led to the after deck, where there was a second steering station port side exterior aft bulkhead of the deckhouse. Below the aft deck was the engine space. aft was the .50cal/81mm mortar mount. Throughout the boat there were storage tanks for fuel and water at the lowest points of the hull.
Is that pretty good for someone who's never seen a Swift?

I took the tour after I wrote that (I hadn't realized there was a link before) and though I can see some differences compaired to these

diagrams (pages 16, 17, 18, et al), NAVSHIPS 0900-031-7010. It seems to be mostly about the dinette vs. a more open deckhouse with a sort of chart table and radio position, and a couple additional bunks. Are the diagrams and pix of different versions/models of the boats?
What else have I missed?

Yes. The documents you reference are for a Mark III Swift.
With only minor exceptions, Vietnam Swifts were Mark I's
You can tell from the different shape of the pilot house.
Two Mark III Swift boats are still on active duty with the
Armed Forces of Malta. They were delivered in 1971 and
have given excellent service. With the proper care that
is and has been afforded them, they will continue to do

Your description makes a Swift sound like a cruise ship.
These were small fifty foot boats with a crew of only six.
o The forward berthing area was tiny. As stated in the
... tour description, the bunking space there consisted
... of only two partial "racks" in a vee shape with the

.. .bow structure. Not the volumious space for up to six
... bunk beds you erroneously perceive. And also why
... there was a bucket on the fantail so that "necessary
