I didn't see that one on the Fox News website.
It would be GREAT news if true, but most of the polls I've seen show Bush with a SLIGHT lead (1-3 pts).
A couple of months ago, Rasmussen came out with a poll that showed that Fox News viewers favored Bush by about 65 - 30, while CNN viewers favored Kerry by about 60-40. I can't quote the exact figures, because they are no longer posted on the Rasmussen website.
I'm wondering whether the numbers you quote are a "scientific" poll, or merely among Fox News viewers, who are more conservative than the general electorate. The last "scientific" Fox News poll showed Kerry leading 44-43. _________________ The traitor will crater! |

Oh Yes, Imagine we will see ol' John dressing in earth tones now.
For the Kerry Campaign Management, I suggest a REAL shakeup - ask Kerry to sign the SF180. . . . . . . _________________ SwiftVets, keep up the GREAT work, truth will win out over spin. |

You might be right about the fox poll... I don't remember ...I'll try to keep an eye out for it (not literally) and post when I see it....
Cnn said no one would probably lose job (tho I thought they said someone was leaving the campaign).... but that some BIG name demos (kennedy?) wanted changes made....
maybe they want Kerry to quit throwing tantrums.... I like that --- they make him look soooooooooooo unelectable.... |

I think maybe we have even convinced some of the loyal Kerry people to start questioning his past, at least I can hope. Either way, making changes this close to your campaign and after your convention shows they are running scared and starting to panic. |

WHO'S IN - NOW WHO'S OUT?
We know who's in at the Kerry camp - Susan Rice, who during an April 1994 teleconference among Clinton national security officials, asked "If we use the word 'genocide' and are seen as doing nothing, what will be the effect on the November [congressional] election?"
Other new additions: Senior Advisor Joe Lockhart; Director of Rapid Response Joel Johnson;Policy Advisor on Israel and the Middle East former Congressman Mel Levine; Elizabeth Edwards Chief of Staff Lori Denham and Elizabeth Edwards Communication Director Karen Finney.
Initial reaction: Oh, yeah. Lockhart's the answer. From his bio: Lockhart was former assistant to the President and Press Secretary at the White House. Before joining the White House in 1997, he was National Press Secretary for the Clinton/Gore ‘96 Re-election campaign and he held several key positions at ABC Network News, CNN and SKY Television News of London. Lockhart’s political experience spans several U.S. Presidential campaigns. He was the Deputy Press Secretary for the Dukakis/Bentsen 1988 Presidential campaign, traveling with the nominee. In 1984, he was Assistant Press Secretary for the Mondale/Ferraro campaign, acting as primary liaison to the broadcast media, supervising advance staff, scheduling press-related operations, and providing logistical support for the traveling press. During the 1980 Carter/Mondale campaign he was a Regional Press Coordinator, managing communications for senior White House and campaign stall in 11 Northeastern states.
No word from my guy - which makes me worry a bit that he's out.
Would tossing Stephanie Cutter, the campaign press secretary, be a way of covering up the fact that the candidate himself is a lousy communicator?

Go to the address above. The shakeup is already happening. Though I note that these are not grand slammers but good base hitters. Gotta figure that more later in the week for the Kerry camp.
The more interesting piece will the bhe whose names don't appear by end of next week. (ie the axe has fallen) |

That sounds like the latest poll in Georgia, not the national poll.

Joe Scarborough (another traitor) suggested that Kerry hire James Carville. I'm not sure James Carville would work for Kerry. He's a Clinton man. Carville is a really dirty player. _________________ Nomorelies Make a donation HERE |
