Appropriate Yes.......I can clearly see the humor in this. Actually I think that the French learned a very good lesson about there thoughts on how to deal with terrorists this week. They (terrorists) were trying to dictate French Policy via the battlefields of Iraq. What most people fail to realize is that battles being fought in Iraq right now are being fought by people who would be commiting terrorist acts elsewhere if not in Iraq. We have moved the battle from New York and L.A. and Paris to a much more appropriate setting.
Do I laugh at the idea of terrorists running the Concord into the Eiffell Tower, Hell No, Nor do I laugh at French journalists being beheaded because people don't like how there (French) government works. I laugh because France thought they could sit this one out and they must now realize that ignoring terrorism doesn't make it stop. Actually It encourages it......
