!. They all, "all" plan for no Swift Boat questions.
The press for sure, Gwen Awful, ect. hate sb's
The two parties, they do not want "outside questions"
The "spin" masters " the hired guns" Mr. Grovel, ect $$$$$
The $$$ people who buy the "pols" if the SB thing works
what good is there $$$$
The "lobist" how can they say "I'll" make it all ok if
the swiftboat thing, halts one of the major parties canidate
The "elected ones" with that "little dirty thing" in their past
if this works they are at risk of someone with $100,000.

2. Every thing needs to be done to "PUSH, PUSH, PUSH
for some post 1971 questions for sure
"Gun Running" where how, did they get there, what guns
did they make your boat slow, where did you load, who loaded
do you remember the lon. /lat. , was it moon lite, clouded,

3. The "magic hat" ,? do you have it with you today as you say
it is "good luck" and I'm sure you need good luck today,
was the CIA man , tall, short, fat, thin, white american,
native american, black american, or real secret a "brit"
When you showed the magic hat to the reporter , did you
consider that some day some one might be asking these
questions. Have you had the hat cleaned, what size is the
hat, as it is not here tonite , where is it and will you go
on national tv and show it to the american people.

4. Would you explaine why no navy seals, no cia agents, no
"SOG" people , ect. have never come forward and thanked
you and your "band of brothers" for the ride you gave them.
You see I have called the Department of De/fence and they
have declasified all that information.

5. Do you have your "dog tags" with you, oh you do, do they
still have the "rubber band" around them as you told one
news person, "did it keep the VC from hearing you comming?

6. As a dog lover my self the story of the dog VC is something

I'm sure you want to share at this moment with all Americans

How far did he "fly" when he went from your "just mined"
swiftboat, on to the other swiftboat,?
And most of all is it true you are secertly breeding these
dogs for the CIA and Special Forces to this day.

7. And at last the debate is over and we the press want to
thank you for that film you and you band of brothers shot
over there with your camera, its has been shown for all

these years as real and the dumb "people" never knew
but next time carry the wepon correct OK.

Its is a real thing get the press to ask at least one real question
and let him decide if he wants to lie on camera, on live tv to all
americans.

other than that have a nice day John Kerry

I've always thought these debates proved nothing about what the president would do. Instead, they seem to give us only a tiny, tiny insight to things like poise, whether they sweat under pressure (like who doesn't), the one who has memorized the largest number of one-liners, the one with the best haircut, their relative heights, and a few other superficial traits. They do not give us an indication of their character, how they will react under real crisis conditions, etc.

Much could be done to show those things but the pressure would need to be removed and really, really tough questions would need to be posed. That'll never happen. It's theatre, after all.

Edited for spelling

Correct Mr. Poole. Debates are basically geared for idiots..a beauty contest.

Too many people out there who don't know the issues.

If their were no idiots out there the swiftees would not have to organize and John "Benedict Arnold" Kerry would not be presidential candidate or senator, or dog-catcher.

He would be in jail for treason.

Well said Mooncusser. I'd like to know if Flipper John was as fussy about his appearance prior to his stage appearances in-country, in front of his own camera. Anyone know whether he "mussed" himself up before going to the silver screen? We know he did not research the part very well (carried his piece muzzle down, etc.) but what about his look. Also did he have any "re-shoots" to correct bad acting?

Modern Presidential debates are little more than joint press conferences.

Rather than a debate on TV with left-leaning anchormen asking pointed questions, they should have a side by side contests.
3 of them one week apart.
first week riding a bike, whoever fall first looses.
second week skiing down some Colorado slopes, whoever falls first looses.
And lastly a parachute jump.

See how long that clumsy clut would last. Very Happy

Kerry's got enough personalities to have a round robin debate
with himself followed by a dugout clearing riot...with himself.

Very Happy

I don't know about that, the Pres has taken a few nasty tumbles himself (remember the bloody bike fall photo on Drudge?)

The real difference would be after they fall, who do they blame it on?

After a bike fall Bush said, "We've got thrills, spills - you name it. I was cautious of my fellow bikemen, I didn't want to cut anybody off and drive them into the canyon. So I slowed down and because I slowed down, I lost inertia and tumbled." When Kerry fell while skiing, he said "I don't fall down, the son of a b*tch [his Secret Service agent] knocked me over." Ref: http://www.drudgereport.com/kerryid2.htm

Don't forget the Segway tumble. President Bush just laughs, dusts himself off, and keeps on keeping on.

Snipe, you are too funny. <laughing at the mental pic of your post>

I am looking forward to the debates, because I think they have the potential to seal the deal for Bush-Cheney. I remember what happened to Carter in his debate with Reagan, and what an ass Mondale made of himself in his turn in the barrel with Reagan.

Here is why I think the debates will be good for Bush-Cheney:

Bush has an air of the kind and affable, self-deprecating good humor and calm intelligence about him. This is largely because he IS an affable, intelligent, kind, good humored man. Kerry gives of the vibe of someone who is more clever than bright, and one who takes himself entirely too seriously for his own good. This is because he does take himself too seriously, and says stupid, SOPHMORIC stuff like pronouncing Genghis "Jhen-jis"--and can not stand criticism, which is very SOPHMORIC. By the time we get to the debates Kerry will be in full Macbeth meltdown (with lots of hard work and God's help) and Bush will Reagan-ize Kerry. Remember that Kerry was heretofore unwilling to attack Bush personally for fear of offending the "undecided voters" that may not like the war in Iraq or whatever, but like Bush okay personally. Now he has no choice but to go into ad hominem attack mode, and while this will thrill the Michael Moore faction of the Dem party, it will alienate the average American.

Edwards' "boyish-good looks" will play badly alongside Cheney's elder statesman air of authority, and if Edwards attacks Cheney head-to-head he will come off looking like everyone's ungrateful son-in-law, or whatever. Or like a revolting ambulance chaser, out for the next big score.

Oh, politics! I love it all. The hunt, the chase.... the kill.

BRING-IT-ON....said the fly to the spider.

I have confidence that Bush will do fine, but I am dreading the debates
because I will be forced to look at JK for an hour. The debate I am
looking forward to is the VP debate. Cheney is going to chew John
Edwards up and spit him out. Take it from an NC native, JK did
himself no favors when he picked Edwards, who does not know,
or care to know, enough about the issues to even be on the same
stage as Cheney. That debate will make it obvious what an "empty
suit" Edwards is.

Snipes is right. Why should George Bush waste his time. Kerry can take both sides of any issue without batting an eye.
