Worth reading, and exploring the contained links:
From http://www.powerlineblog.com/archives/007720.php
... In a May 3 article for National Review (only partially avalable online), Mac characterized Kerry's antiwar activities as defaming his comrades by "Americanizing" Soviet propaganda. Mac has followed up on his National Review articles with columns for NRO (click here for a complete list). His most recent NRO column on the subject is "John Kerry's two Vietnams."
Unlike his February cover story, his most recent column generated an enormous response (discussed here). Mac said that he has returned to the subject in his columns for NRO because "people are listening now." He promised at least one more column on the subject for NRO. In the meantime, catch up with Mac's invaluable articles and columns on the fundamental internal contradiction of Kerryism. |

Thank-you for posting this as it is an excellent read and one that I have missed. ALL AMERICAN's should read this and understand in the light of history what happened to this generation of Vietnam heroes. Those who forget the past are condemned to repeat it! George Santayana 1905. Thanks to the Swiftees and God help us. Please read below:
But Was It True?
What John Kerry said about the Vietnam War and the men who served in it.

In the National Review article, the question is raised as to why Kerry did what he did.
I have a simple answer to explain why he did it, an answer that is so simple, it has rarely been suggested in such simple terms:
Kerry is simply a flaming a**hole.

This needs to have a lot more exposure among the American people - and I have a hunch that it's going to get just that.
The reason for Kerry doing something this vile? It furthered his career and credibility as an anti-war activist. (Though FDL put it more succinctly. ) _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Quote: | In the year 1971, John Kerry went to Paris to meet with representatives of the North Vietnam government. While there, Kerry helped to negotiate what became known as "The People's Peace Treaty." Under the terms of that treaty, the United States would agree to an immediate cease-fire pull all forces out of Vietnam. Once that was complete, North Vietnam would then "enter discussions to secure the release of all American prisoners, including pilots captured while bombing North Vietnam." In brief, we'd give them everything, then they'd talk about giving us back our prisoners. |
Did Kerry really do this? Wasn't this supposed to be against the law. Kerry was only a Navy Lieutenant, not the Secretary of State. How did our nation let this happen? How could he take it upon himself to make these decisions for our nation? Don't we live in a democracy and don't we have elected officials to do such things? If Kerry can be a "one-man" ambassador, he can be a one-man military and a one-man system of justice. He doesn't need anyone else. Am I just imagining that this was an act of treason? _________________ Nomorelies Make a donation HERE |
