The article can be found at http://www.nypost.com/news/nationalnews/29965.htm
But what I found really strange is Kerrt's new strategy.
>The infighting came as Time and Newsweek polls gave Bush an 11-point lead. Kerry aides concede Bush leads by at least 3 or 4 points.
Kerry took yesterday off instead of going on a Sunday TV show to jumpstart his campaign. He's done no interviews in more than a month, since the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth TV ads challenged his Vietnam and anti-war record.
Instead, to try to shift to offense, Kerry yesterday put out a statement suggesting a possible Bush cover-up of ties between the Saudi government and 9/11.
Bush spokesman Scott Stanzel called the claim "baseless" and suggested Kerry has hired Michael Moore as his "new foreign-policy adviser."
Is this the new direction??? |

God I hope this is the new strategy...
After the RNC, if Kerry spouts this BS, he is going to start to lose even more democrats.
He's got to be kidding. |

Great article from NYPOST
Kerry can't do any interviews unless they are pro-Kerry asking the questions. What's interesting is before the Swiftvets came along Kerry
could have counted on having a 95% surety of picking and chosing who to give one to, those numbers must have dropped to where he can't find
anyone to give him the kind of interview he wants.
Thank God for the Swiftvets, keep em coming. |

Kerry hasn't done an interview since Aug. 1 and you cannot interview any of the Swift vets with him.
Hmmmm..... |

This new attack about a cover-up by President Bush is coming from soon-to-be retired Senator Bob Graham (D-FL). Along with Senator Rockefeller (D-WV), he has misused his porition on the Senate Intelligence Committee. Both are snakes. |

Honestly, I love it. The more Kerry becomes Howard Dean, the bigger he'll lose. The party zealots love it, the Manhattan cocktail parties love it, but most Americans don't buy it. _________________ -- Bill in Seattle |

From “All Clinton All The Time For Kerry,” NEW YORK, Sept. 6, 2004 (CBS)--Hospitalization for heart surgery didn't stop former President Bill Clinton from doling out political advice to John Kerry….
In a related development, a swarm of former Clinton political operatives are signing on with the Kerry campaign.
The Times said three well-known former Clinton aides, James Carville, Paul Begala and Stanley Greenberg, would take a more active role in the Kerry campaign.
Three Clinton operatives are already on board: former spokesman Joe Lockhart, former White House aide Joel Johnson and Doug Sosnik, a former Clinton political director.
Kerry aides insist the influx of Clintonistas doesn't represent a staff shake-up or a change in course.
I thought the rats were suppose to leave a sinking ship? They’re going to need a lot of cool aid. |

I don't suppose rebuttal of facts has yet to penetrate the discussion as an actual strategy. |

Kerry can't change the subject. He has been triangulated. The Bush camp is ten steps ahead. The Bush camp never brings up the subject of Vietnam. They don't have to. The subject will be brought up by a third group, the Swiftvets who represent the 2 million plus Vietnam war vets that Kerry slandered in 1971. We are not going away. _________________ Nomorelies Make a donation HERE |

I feel the need to just step back from the fray for
a minute and consider where we were a month ago.
What an incredible achievement the SwiftVets have pulled off.
This is the stuff that legends are made of.
I don't feel 53 anymore.
SwiftVets: You certainly are and were a well disciplened and potent
group. You have shown valor under fire yesterday and today.
I'm proud to live a country where I can post this comment. |

Quote: | For days, "Kerry ripped into Cahill" over TV ad attacks from anti-Kerry Vietnam vets, and then he "screamed" for someone to call old pal Thomas Vallely, who'd helped defend him before, Newsweek said. | September 18, 1972 -- John Kerry's brother Cameron and
Vietnam veteran Thomas Vallely are arrested in Lowell,
Massachusetts in the basement of a building that houses
both Kerry's campaign headquarters and those of opposing
candidate Tony DiFruscia. Cameron Kerry and Vallely are
charged with breaking and entering with the intent to
commit larceny. Kerry will win the Democratic nomination
for a Massachusetts congressional seat the next day, but
lose in the general election to Republican Paul Cronin.
Thomas Vallely will later become director of the Vietnam
Program at the John F. Kennedy School of Government,
Harvard University.
Kerry sure does dig to the bottom of the barrel for help |
