Can anyone shed some light on the best place to get a copy of UNFIT FOR COMMAND that doesn't entail a looooong wait? _________________ No whiners! |

If you cannot find it locally, Borders, Barnes & Noble, B. Dalton and such, you can order it directly from Regnery Publishing. Any ordering will entail a wait, but from what I've heard, ordering directly does seem to be a minimal wait.

I received my book from Amazon ,although they had written me saying the book may be delayed It came within a couple of days of that email. Altogether I think it took 2 weeks but if they had a new stock brought it you might find it easier to get. |

I don't know how long it takes, but the publisher has it for $18.95. Don't know what s/h costs may be, but I paid $27.95 for mine. I got one from Books-A-Million--I ordered the first day it came out--they said it would take several weeks, but called me within 2-3 days. I also got a call-back from Borders within a week after getting on their list. I got on their list the first day also.

OK, I ordered mine from Amazon, along with the Tommy Franks book. Now, I just have to wait until it arrives. I had hoped to find UFC locally, but no such luck. At least I saved shipping by reaching the order amount that let's free shipping kick in. _________________ No whiners! |

Costco had stacks of copies.
Best of all, they were substantially discounted.
Borders had copies, also discounted. |

For anyone in the Virginia Beach area, I saw about 10 copies at the Walden Books in Pembroke Mall today.
My husband ordered me a copy from Amazon that I am *still* waiting on. I think its supposed to ship on the 8th, but its been on order for about 2 weeks now. _________________ Orolonn |

Just came back from Walmart in Valley Stream, NY.
They had three copies, albeit for around $20.
Target had none, and no explanation as to whether any are coming. |

If your budget allows, please do NOT order from e-bay, as aren't these books being RE-SOLD? If so, this will not benefit either the sales numbers of, or the profitability for, the SwiftVets, will it? Something to consider? FWIW? _________________

If you are in the DC area and can't find the book there are copies available at the DCA airport Waldenbooks. The clerk told me that he received two cases on Saturday but did not put them out until today. Only one problem, if you want to get home in one piece don't read it on the METRO on DC. _________________ MKJ |

Amazon is now shipping the book immediately upon order. How long this will last I don't know. _________________ No whiners! |

I *finally* got my copy yesterday from Amazon. They didn't send out a ship notice or anything. _________________ Orolonn |

I bought it at Costco for $16 a couple of weeks ago, and I saw it last week at Walmart for $20. |
