|

Over and Over the Kerry Campaign staff is insisting that the Swift-Boat Ads content has been refuted and shown to be lies. They said it on Face the Nation, and other interviews on Sunday.
That means they are saying the Kerry's own words are Lies, his own words given as Testimony before Senate in 1971. This is the content of 2nd Swift Vet Ad that ran nationally. Will Kerry's campaign staff now call upon John Kerry to retract his testimony?
That means John Kerry's very own Campaign Staff is saying the feelings of Jon Ponder are a lies.
That means John Kerry's very own Campaign Staff says POWs are lying.
That means John Kerry's very own Campaign Staff says Kerry's own words in a 1970 interview are lies. His staff says Kerry is lying about throwing all his medals back to the Government.
Frankly if John Kerry is this self destructive with himself....how will he handle stewardship of a nation.
Senator Kerry needs to reign in these vicious attacks by his own campaign staff....against John Kerry himself and which raise questions about the credibility and truth of Kerry's past acts and record. |

I saw one Kerry Kool-Aid vendor saying that SwiftVets hired an actor to pretend to throw metals in the Ad #4. Either the talking head was too dumb to realize it was actual footage....OR worse....was so dumb she thought that audience would by it. |

So when has obviously contrdicting yourself ever fazed these people. Clinton was famous for that, even going so far as to deny saying things that he is shown on video saying. _________________ "The price of freedom is eternal vigilence" - Thomas Jefferson

I just have to laugh at the Irony....Democrats are flogging Kerry's campaign staff for not having addressed the SwiftVets earlier....meanwhile Kerry has said absolutely nothing in which to give his staff anything to defend the charges. Why does the press think this story can go away, without Kerry ever speaking to it. Meanwhile its been over 5 weeks since Kerry has addressed a credible journalist asking questions in front of a camera. |

This is a time worn strategy of these people.
1. Ignore it!
2. When you can't ignore it, deny it.
3. When presented with facts that prove it, say: it is out of context, irrelevent - happened long ago, produce liars who support you, they mis-quoted me, attack the source as a partisan political operative, admit nothing.
4. Change the subject by attacking your opponent with a new smear.
5. Quietly modify your story to account for the exposed truth, but always portray it as new proof of your opponent's attacks on you.
6. If any further mention is made of it say: It's old news, everyone has already looked into it, there is no point in talking about it anymore.
7. go back to step 1
Wash, Rinse, Repeat - that's the way it's done! _________________ "The price of freedom is eternal vigilence" - Thomas Jefferson
