My son who is a young republican at the University of MN at Winona was thinking about registering to vote in WI were we live, but now that WI is swiftly moving into the Bush column I think he will keep his registration in MN.

Me being from MN and you from MA perhaps we can charter some new ground. I would love to see the entire country in my new favorite color BLUE. _________________ Defender of the honor of those in harms way keeping us out of harms way.

Thanks ColdWarVet, but Bush was ahead in Wisconsin against Gore. The Dems went and gave smokes and crap for bums to vote for Gore and he won by a narrow margin. Don't let the polls fool you, have son register here and tell all his buddies who can to register here and vote Bush.
Please don't take the Wisconsin polls for granted. We really need all we can, MN will never, ever go to Bush. That's why the Prez came to West Allis directly after the convention. He NEEDS this state and all it's electorates.
I've never been very political, but I believe we're fighting for the nation's health here. We can't take anything for granted. I'd bet you a dinner that "W" would tell you the same. |

Of course he is, I took your message to mean that your son would like to see George Bush win the election. I don't vote for my children either, but I still offer them advice.
Sorry if it sounded like instructions, it wasn't intended that way, this is just an exchange of ideas. |
