I visited my local Costco in Bridgewater NJ tonight and found 8 copies of Unfit for Command at $15.72, book was placed next to Clinton's best seller book that we all know received the media's attention including the bookstores autograph signing promotion, you can't miss his book when you arrive at the local Barnes & Noble a store I no longer patronize after the debacle in not only restricting sales but by burying the book so the public had difficulty in getting it and not giving the book its proper placement on their web site as a best seller and postive reviews, let's not forget their conduct and show our disgust at the next stockholders meeting or adding the issue to the next shareholder proxy...
I did notice that the Costco web site is not carrying Unfit for Command so if you are not close to a Costco store you may want to notify Costco they need to start selling the book on line too, if they can carry the Fraken book there is NO excuse for not selling this book NOW...
Good luck in your search...

I went to my local Costco today and found 10 copies next Tommy Franks book. I spent an hour shopping, on the way out I noticed only 2 left
Costco better get some more copies in _________________ Enlighten the people, generally, and tyranny and oppressions of body and mind will vanish like spirits at the dawn of day.

I also bought it at Costco a couple of weeks ago for $16. I saw it at Walmart for $20. If the book was being distributed better it would be selling even more, for sure. |

I wrote a bit of a nasty email to Costco yesterday. The don't carry the book on their website. They have lots of copies of hit pieces on Bush, for example, "Bushworld", but they haven't gotten enough close to enough copies of "Unfit for Command" in their stores.
A top executive of Costco is a major Kerry supporter. He is listed on the Kerry website as a business executive supporter. I don't know what effect this has had, if any, on Costco's stocking policies but biases from the top of a company often flow down to other employees. |
