Any Questions (ad #1)
Sellout (ad #2)
Gunner (ad #3)
Medals (ad #4)

It looks like poll creation has been disabled - we haven't had one for quite a while

ah well.........

air_vet, we disabled the poll option because they can be pretty silly. But, I think this is a valid use of the poll option, so I opened a poll for three days. Admin

I like "Medals" the best because its content and message links the generations: whether one is young or a senior, Kerry's conduct is offensive.

I voted for gunner just to honor Steve. He has done so much for the cause.

That was a tough one for me, too - Gunner was my second choice just because it laid it all right OUT there. And Gardner has done such an outstanding job of being a credible spokesman for the group.

But, "Sellout" is what I voted for because these are the things for which I will despise John Kerry until the end of time.

I voted for "Gunner" also. Simple & direct. (Plus Steve looks a little bit like my old boss who's also a Viet Vet.) "Sellout" a close 2nd.

I think all the ads were good, but in order of effectiveness:

10 pts: "Sellout" You cannot question the claims in this ad. These guys each tell how *they* were affected by Kerry dispicable testimony. Having video of Kerry's nauseating delivery and smug attitude is very effective.

8 pts: "Medals" Again, unassailable content. Again, nauseating footage of Kerry. Ironically, he was lying about throwing away his medals (they weren't his) and EXAGGERATED the count (I don't noooo, sixxx, seven, aught, non). The numbers just kept growing right before our eyes.

6pts: "Any questions" Effective content, but as we've found out, difficult to certify the claims (as we've seen with the OUTRAGEOUS responses from Kerry campaign).

4 pts: "Gunner" Again, this is another he-said->he-said ad. I also got the impression Gardner had a (slight) attitude of insincerity, especially when compared to the other ads with testimonials. I think they should have done some more takes and have him be a bit more humble.

Please keep up the GOOD work! I am ready to continue to contribute.

I picked Sellout. Dennis Miller also said that was the one that affected him the most.

By his own words, you shall know him.

Sellout by far - so far.

The question was "Which one did you like?" As a Riverine Vet..."Medals"

If the question had been "Which one has the most effect on the electorate?"..."Sell Out"

The ad that has had the most impact so far is "Any Questions" -- because that is what all the debate in the old media has been about.

However, without question, the best of the lot is "Sellout". In fact, I think it may be more powerful ad than the famous LBJ "Daisy" ad. It is clearly stronger than the Willie Horton ads.

The big question is, what has to happen in order to have the debate focus on and controversy attach to Kerry's activities after he returned from Vietnam.

He will defend everything he did at that point. His base firmly believes in everything he did at that point.

Fortunately, the overwhelming majority of Americans will be horrified.

"Sell Out" was the one that made my wife (who never votes) check to see if her voter registration was still current.
And the one I voted for.

I'm still waiting for the Ho Chi Minh Museum commerical,
