Kerry's DD-214 of December 1966 for his discharge to accept a commission, http://news.findlaw.com/hdocs/docs/jkerry/dd214.pdf, Item 10a., "Highest Civilian Education Level Attained" says "COLLEGE 5", indicating FIVE years of college. Kerry attended Yale for FOUR academic years and obtained a four year BA degree. Five years of college is a masters degree.
Also, on Kerry's "Background Information Sheet", signed 1 Feb 1966, http://news.findlaw.com/hdocs/docs/jkerry/backgroundinfo.pdf, he indicated that he had already graduated from Yale although he did not graduate until June.
While these items look very minor, in academia falsifying educational history is considered a very serious offense!
Must be just more typos 'cause we all know Kerry wouldn't try to embellish his record.
Is there another plausable explanation that I'm missing here? |
