| This whole 60 Minutes ordeal was nothing more than made up memos with fake signatures. Rather and CBS should be held accountable for running frivolous, irresponsible political propaganda. Should we contact the FEC for possible violations? What about contacting the FCC about CBS televising info that even to the very untrained eye was an obvious fraud. Anyone have ideas on how to really put the pressure on CBS and Rather. CBS claims that these memos came from personal files of a man who has been dead for years. The only thing they did to investigate the authenticity was to call in a handwriting specialist. I think all of us on this web site did much more investigating, comparing and just plain examining. 60 Minutes knowingly set out to deceive and to mislead its audience. |
