I think the Swifties are taking a breather while the stolenvalor movie takes it’s shot at Kerry. Then when that dies down they will attack again with a new ad.

Lull the Kerry campaign in to a false sense of security...

Wouldn't Kerry just love to know that!! Cool

....I think it's the POWs, then we'll get to the Treason big time......
But even though no sudden breaking event is occurring at this time, I sense a continual, steady onslaught against Kerry. A mercilous machine that just keeps rolling (or should I say "sailing") along...... a measured drumbeat....

(I'm really glad O'Neill is finally going to be on C-Span with his book!!.)

This would be my strategy...keep the ads coming.

As long as new ads are being created Kerry will be forced to confront them. An ad dealing with the Combat V should be made.

A new ad should come out soon...to offset the current Kitty Kelly and National Guard nonsense...that's being peddled to hide Kerry's past and voting record.

Then, two new ads should come out in early October to combat the Michael Moore F-911 DVD debut.

Hopefully "Stolen Honor" will make its debut on something like Oliver North's show, etc. Also the Reagan documentary (In the Face of Evil) should be hitting the theaters in early October.

Then the last week of October...the Swiftvets need to replay the existing ads...a barrage...in all the battle ground states...up to...and on election day.

The following ads would be greatly effective.

The Silver Star with Combat V (cite the current investigation).
Address Kerry's first Purple Heart directly...with Louis Letson..Grant Hibbard....Kerry's journal entry...and Hurley backtracking.

to consider...

The Paris meeting with info about his aide (Joe Bangert) singing the "The Ballad of Ho Chi Minh."
Ads with Dexter Lehtinen and Steve Pitkin.

Personally, I think SBVT has washed their hands of the medals issue. The press has their teeth in it now, no need to keep banging on it.

The focus should (and will) be put on Kerry's post-war conduct. After all, who cares what he actually did or didn't do in Vietnam? It's what he SAID he did and what he SAID others did that is unproven, unsubstantiated, and completely unsupportable. He lied to Congress, and he behaved treasonously by consorting with the enemy, and gave aid and comfort to the enemy in a time of war.

Some of those charges are CAPITAL crimes. Benedict Arnold was branded a traitor just for talking to the British. John Kerry's name needs to be on the same list with Arnold's name.

And the man has the nerve to run for Commander in Chief?

I just hope that there is something saved up for late in October. Bush would have beat Gore by about 3-5% in the popular vote if the story of the DUI didn't come out a few days before the election. It would be good to have something left to pound Kerry with at the very end. For sure the ******** will remember it and try it again, if they can find anything.
It seems Kerry's people are out of ammo already though, since they are trying to bring up Bush's National Guard service again. I don't think it will work as it doesn't seem anybody really cares about it.
It seems there is still a lot to hit Kerry with concerning meeting with the enemy, and a lot more could be done with the POWs concerning the Senate testimony. I think that is the most powerful part of the Vietnam veterans can bring, the fact that POWs took torture to avoid saying what Kerry said proudly. I would like to see more of the POWs, since they seem to speak with great authority, having gone through what they did.

Just my personal opinion - your own emails to family and friends about what traitor John Kerry did to our soldiers, to our POW/MIA's and to today's Armed Forces is integral to the Swifts' efforts, to getting their message out.

Keep your emails short and to the point and personal. There have been a number of short, one or two point blasts regarding the worst of the betrayals posted here on this board - if you're not a writer, ask permission and plagiarize a letter that you admire.

Re-write it from your perspective. Tell how the Swifts' message has affected you. Let them know that a vote for Kerry is stabbing YOU, a veteran, in the back.

Kerry himself has provided an endless font of verbal ammunition to be used against his own campaign, and the metaphorical armory increases every time he opens his mouth.

Include a link to this message board or to the main site or to the Winter Soldier site.

People who want the truth will visit your links. People who value your opinions will at least listen.

Traitor Kerry is changing again. Ann Coulter is right, the more John Kerry changes, the more he stays the same.

Need to keep attacking before Traitor Kerry slide away. He is learning from Slick Willie. Wink Wink Wink

I like the whole lull stragtegy and to not let the left-hand know what the right-hand is doing. If this supposed "October surprise" is real, annoucing it ahead of time will give our enemy Kerry something to try to circumvent it.

The first ads were the jabs, meaning to weaken Kerry and plant some doubt about him. The second barrage of ads should be the knock-out blow.

I just hope that the next batch of SBVT ads does not come too late.

If SBVT doesn't do something soon, the flow of donations might slow down, and there wouldn't be enough money for a major ad buy shortly before the election.

I hope the various organizations bringing out ads against Kerry are coordinating, or at least looking at what each other are doing, so there isn't a lot of overlap reducing the impact. We need a steady stream form now until November 2, not one ad sucking the oxygen out of another.

I for on have not send any money for over a week. Need to attack so I and others can send more money. God bless America. Wink Wink Wink

I think we ought to let the Swiftees do as they see fit, and not ask them to divulge, in a public forum, their every move. Only fools share their battle plans with the enemy. Mad
