As I have reported before, I was stationed at Cam Ranh Bay, NSF, from April 68 to Dec 69. Arrived as a ET2 and promoted to ET1 in Dec. My primary jobs were working on the swifts and other ships on pier crew. I have previously reported that I have photos of the 44 boat and others in CRB. I may be wrong, but my memory says that the 44 boat never left CRB. The pictures that have posted on web and here, show other boats and ships at the same time as the 44 boat. This can easily confirm by ships logs and Naval records. If my memory is right and the 44 boat was in CRB Christmas Eve 1968, HOW COULD JIM WASSER ACCOUNT FOR HIS CLAIM OF BEING WITH KERRY VERY, VERY NEAR CAMBODIA during that time. If I am wrong, my appologies to all. As always, my concerns are for the truth. Jack H _________________ Jack L Hetherton jr |
