Unlikey that emailing CBS headquarters will have much impact. Hit them where it gets real personal. Email your local CBS affiliate and express your displeasure Exclamation

Admin note: Please don't use all-caps in topic titles. Thanks

Here is what I sent to our (Tampa) affiliate. Please feel free to cut and paste:

RE: 60 Minutes II Show re: Bush ANG service

As you know, many questions have been raised regarding the authenticity of the documents used for this presentation. The network response is to refuse to show evidence for the sourcing on this story. Their position on this is irresponsible and, eventually, the affiliates will pay the price for this kind of irresponsible "tabloid journalism".

I strongly urge you to urge them to complete a thorough investigation (led by an unaffiliated third party) and report the results to your viewers. Otherwise, do not be surprised by fewer viewers.

I have a better idea. Instead of trying to boycott advertisers of CBS news, lets try and get a boycott of all cbs prime time tv. I do not think a
hollywood actor/direcor ect.(as left as they are) would be very happy about a new fall sitcom being cancelled because of Dan Rather.

I am so angry about this. I feel like Rather thumbed his nose at all of us who use the computer to find out the truth. If he is allowed to get away with this and CBS suffers no consequences for forging documents, lieing or at the least using the nightly news to give 1 side only of a story, then this will become more widespread than it is now.

If you get on www.cbs.com you will get a listing of all the prime time shows and the new fall line up. We need to find email, phone numbers to these shows, stars, or publisicts. Anyone have any contacts ar ideas on how to reach people connected with these shows?
