I have been happy to lurk for many weeks but just discovered this article on Lucianne.com and thought it would be of interest/use.
States:
Col. Staudt discharged 3/1/72 yet memo references his interference dtd 8/18/73 at

Unbelievable - this story is falling apart by the minute - this, with Hodges saying now that he was duped by CBS. And the CBS staffer in this article saying that Staudt retired a year before the memo was written does not affect the credibility of the memo?? What planet are these people on??!!
I thought this part of the article was very interesting - "The campaign of Bush's rival, John Kerry, stood mostly mum, saying Bush should answer all questions about his service. Earlier this year, though, Kerry aides raised the exact same points the memo seemed to address." Hmmm - Coincidence?????
