I believe this country is at war ... and while the US military knows how to proceed ... most civlians in this country do not have a clue, particular since the WW2 generation is dying off.

The first thing we had to revisit, however unwillingly, was Vietnam, and how we're going to treat our veterans, and the servicemen currently there. It is painful to watch those POW interviews, and embarassing to see Mr. John Effing Kerry clips of testimony and throwing medals (?), ribbons (?) or whatever he thinks he tossed into the White house lawn. But ... this time, we need to get it right, and that does mean revisiting Vietnam. Thankyou, Swift Vets, for breaking that one wide open.

Second ... we need as a public to understand how the mainstream media has been putting one over on us all these years. Dan Rather's "exposee" of George Bush's memo's is looking more and more bogus by the day. We need to get the media/propaganda aspect right this time as well, and it's good to see things coming to light.
