				| This is old news already, but thought I'd share it anyway for those who are looking for ACTUAL documents on Kerry.
This was in Texas Tech University, Virtual Vietnam Archives:

 Record 68512.

HQ US Military Assistance Command, Vietnam--Monthly Summary December 1968:

Summary of December events: IV Zone

 entry:

242250 - Kien Giang Prov - A Swift bt on ptl, 8 mi NE of Rach Gia, rec rkt gren & hv auto wpns fire causing lt dam to the craft. 1 US pers was wounded. The bt was taken under tow & trn to Rach Gia.

Comment: Apparently, Kerry was taken under fire by green tracers and rockets on Christmas Eve. Only problem is the action took place 8 miles North East of Rach Gia -- I'm not a geographic specialist but this doesn't look like Cambodia to me.
