|

Every day I see Kerry speaking on the news and it is a different topic. Most people believe this makes him appear wishy washy or flip floping. I believe he just wants air time. He is basing his campaign after a childs cartoon. He is constantly changing to keep peoples attention. No really think about it, every day even swifty supporters follow kerry to see what he has to say. I finally have to give him credit because he has a strategy, a stupid strategy but at least he has a strategy. |

All I notice is that Kerry seems to always get the media spotlight, even if they speack on the same days and attack each other. For example, CNN highlights Kerry's speech much more than they did Bush's speech... Just more media-bias. Kerry doesn't need airtime.. he gets enough fluff from CNN/ABC, CBS, et al. |

Kerry's speechs are empty. I never can remember what he said 3 minutes after watching them. I admit it is difficult to watch his speeches but I am trying. |

This is the only way Kerry can get in the news.
Because of the Swiftvets maintained pressure against
him he has not had a press conference in over 35
days. News people say this is unpresedented for
an incumbent in a Presidential election.
Another side effect of the SwiftVets has been the
collapse of Kerry's campaign camp, he has probably
been usurped by MacCauliffe and the DNC as they
are now sending in the Clinton people to take over.
Kerry has always considered himself the come-back
kid, his book, Tour of Duty, gag, says this over and
over, how he gave "spellbinding speeches" which were
tantamount in rallying the voters to his side. I think
I might go back and see how many times they used
that term "spellbinding" in the book. I saw quite a few.
The Swiftvets have succeeded in destroying his credibility,
his speeches no longer have a "magical" effect, instead
he's been exposed as a man who says what he thinks
will win over the people at that particular time. Unfortunately
for him when he says he is pro-Iraq war on Tuesday to
a pro-war rally then says the war is WRONG to a anti-war
rally on Wednesday, the press is there to record it. |

The more people see Kerry, the more they dislike him.
You know he's in deep trouble when all his supporters in the press are reporting about what a lousy campaign he is running or try to send him tips about what he could do to come back.
He's toast. |

IMHO Kerry is seeking approval wherever he can find it, however he can find it. Wonder what his childhood was like. Remember when you were a teenager? You wanted attention and would do anything to get it. A lot of kids did/do stupid things to get attention, even if it's negative. I think that's what's going on here. Tell the audience of the moment what they want to hear, so you get approval. 'Course, the next audience is different and wants something else. He doesn't know who he is, so he doesn't know what to stand for. The biggest approval of all would be getting elected to the presidency. Can't let it happen. Keep the focus and work hard to prevent it. |

The Kerry Speechmaker 2004:
"I wouldn't do one thing differently, I would do everything differently."
"W stands for wrong. Add permutations here."
"Bush lied to you."
"I went to Vietnam."
"1.6 million jobs lost under Bush."
"We are fighting Iraq alone."
"I'm not saying anything is wrong with the National Guard, but everyone used it to avoid going to Vietnam, like me!!"
"I was in Cambodia illegally." (Oops, scratch that one!)
Mix and match the above, link together with DNC talking points, stir well, deliver in a "stirring" monotone. Be sure to point a lot, and give several rousing "thumbs up" for the adoring crowds.
Watch adults slip into comas and babies cry. _________________ Everytime he had a choice, Kerry chose to side with communists rather than the United States. |

Option A: Show Kerry and watch his ratings go down
Option B: Show Bush and watch his ratings go up

I have a different take. I believe the MSM will use the SeeBS imbroglio as a means to divert attention from their almost conspiratorial failure to explore the charges levied at Kerry by SBVT.
In short, they will "give up" Dan Rather and SeeBS as a demonstration of their journalistic "integrity" and hope that it lends some aura of impartiality to their abject prejudice against a fair investigation of the SBVT charges. |

Jay,
You're absolutely right in your analysis IMHO! It's important to put pressure on SeeBS to get out of the way of our message before 1 Oct 04. Use www.rathergate.com and email to the CBS local outlets and advertisers to pressure a conclusion to RatherGate next week.
Then there will be an opportunity for our message to be heard. The mainsewer media and the DNC are moving the "goalposts" on us again. Politically, "RatherGate" is won...we need to get back on message.

No matter what Kerry says he ends up having somewhere around 50% of his base question him. He is very capable of saying what ever it takes to win this election.
