LMRO!!
Why were the Kerry's taking their hamster on their boat, anyway? And doesn't the fact that Kerry placed the hamster in harm's way clearly demonstrate he didn't care before he did care?
Even his kids see that "F" stands for flip flop.
CPR on a hamster. A Silver Star action if ever there was one.
I wish someone had run the twins speech by moi first. They could have said, "And we had a hamster too, but let's just say our dad never allowed it to be foolishly placed in harm's way over a boat ride, in the first place."
Actually, I wouldn't have let the Bush twins speak at all, unless they had something substantive to say, and could say it without appearing to take themselves overly seriously. That is a tough thing to do, so I think I would have just had them around and visible, but not speaking. Perhpas just introduce their mom, say a few words (less than 100) and exit stage left.
I have kids around that age, and I love them and think the world of them, but have them address a convention at this point? I think not. |

I don't believe that a hamster, which normally breathes 100 times a minute, could have survived under water long enough for this story to be true. _________________ --Bill
