This is just the beginning......very soon, CBS must do a mea culpa and Rather must "eat humble pie".....

The Scandal is not over with that......does the Democratic National Committee and/or the Kerry Campaign have its fingerprints on these memoes?.....this is where an investigative reporter(s) will make a career for him/herself.......if the DNC or the Kerry Campaign is involved, it is far more significant than Watergate was.....and, the vultures will not go away on this when Rather comes clean......this story has many days/weeks to run.....and, you just know, there will be a John Dean and/or a "deep throat" that will step forward

The Kerry Campaign's War Room must be very depressed today!!!!

I believe that the on going counter attack against the document's fabrication will soon make the issue moot.
The GOP need not take it on and not defend it directly and will most probably let it die on the vine.
If it sticks to the wall, salute it. If it drops to the floor pick it up. Wink

The only counter attack I see is CBS trying to make it go away. I don't think it will.

Somebody from the Kerry campaign found a copy of
Microsoft Word 71 at a Salvation Army store.
Rather is vindicated.

Can you verify they had Windows for Royal typewriters? Other wise, we may have probs making it stick.
