I have sent a letter to the City of Detroit requesting a Parade Permit for October 30, 2004 at 10:00A.M.. This parade will leave the corner of 12th Street and West Grand Blvd. (site of the 1967 Detroit Riots) it will continue down W. Grand Blvd to the corner of John C. Lodge Freeway (site of the Winter Soldier Investigations). I will be sending letters to both the Republican Party and the Democratic Party and inviting the canidates to attend. I have been even thinking about requesting this be the site of a presidental debate. I think the possibility of say John O'Neil and Hanoi Jane Fonda be moderators of the debate. That may be a hugh stretch though. I have emailed latch and requested that he include the Swiftboat people in this parade but to this date I hae not heard anything from him. I am also going to write to the VVA and the VVA Michigan CHapters asking them to also take part. If anyone out there have any other suggestions I would greatly appreciate your input. Never done anything like this before. Anyone that would also like to take part my e mail is also available on this site.
