The portion of our nation that is half asleep is starting to wake up. I just finished UNFIT FOR COMMAND-and I must report that it is the most fair collection of interviews and comments concerning John Kerry and his sick state of mind. This book should have been a movie before the elections of 2004. It opened my eyes to things that i read about on the radio from 1966 to 1975 concerning the Nam War. I sent a few thousand hours of audio tapes to Nam and other miltary locations as a young rock jock. Even though I was very actively pro-Nam.worked with returning Vets in a halfway house for several years getting to know these men and their stories, I was never clear on the politics of the likes of Mr Kerry until reading the UNFIT book. I am a media child, starting in broadcasting at 15 years of age and finally leaving the on air side for full time engineering in 1973. I was sick and tired of reading UPI and AP press stories that spent as much time reporting on the crazies on campus more than the war and the success. When we mined the Harbors the war took a turn and brought the Commies to the bargaining table. During the 1969 riots at the University of South Carolina prompted by the SDS and other alleged Nam Vets Against the War I stuck my mike in the face of Jane Fonda and asked her a question which she flatly ignored as if I was not there: "Will your actions cause harm to POWs ?" She was flat chested without her Hollywood lift-bra. But in comparing Kerry and Fonda, at least Jane is now a born again Christian (according to some accounts) and might be on the road to recovery. Kerry,also flat chested, is concerned that some of us wear our religion on our sleeve. The whole truth is probably reserved for THE RESSURRECTION. But we need to get the word out to those who care that Mr Kerry is clearly a Communist-socialist. How the media has made anyone complaining about Communism or socialism to be a crazed and narrow-minded fool. I was in Cuba in the Summer of 1964 as a teen and saw the Russian security guards at the gates of Gitmo. I heard first hand from Cubans what life was like under Fidel. SO Communism is a peace loving Religion-less philosophy. Thank you,Mr JFK, for trying to make socialism and its twin-Communism to be as socially acceptable as same sex marriage.
The book and the efforts of our Vets are all that stand between
this man and the trial lawyers and white house and the elightenment of America to tolerance toward war-protestors who visited Communists to parlay the POWs for politcal gain-sorta like Bro Jesse during the Iran-Carter era. We are having a yard sale to raise more money to get this message which the Repubs are too stupid to promote. The good news is my son and my grandson dislike Kerry and are developing a strong interest in politics and the truth of dirty Democrats. Even our friends who are African Americans are finally starting to understand that Kerry-Clinton-Kennedy are the real race baiters. Thank God for you guys!
