Here's the link to an editorial written by Kerry:

Does anyone else see something wrong with Kerry's basic premise here? He thinks the president of the United States is the CEO of the country. This is a thouroghly socialist view of government. The job of the president is to ensure that the laws of the federal government are carried out throughout the land and to be the commander in chief of the armed forces. John Kerry sees no distinction between the government and the free individuals of the nation. The very idea of the president being the CEO of the country is so contrary to everything America stands for that it is obvious John Kerry has no idea what a free country is. _________________ "It is not a smear, if you please, if you point out the record of your opponent."
