Those interested in understanding Kerry's philosphy and why he has provided support to communist/socialist regimes during his entire life may want to spend some time studying these two topics. He has spoken consistently of the principles if not the names of both movements since Prep school and his actions and words telegraph his firm belief in these philosophies. Hardly what I think many Americans want and definitely not what he's trying to sell himself as.
Quote: | Internationalism
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
(Redirected from International socialism)
Internationalism is a political movement which advocates a greater economic and political cooperation between nations for the benefit of all. Partisans of this movement, such as supporters of the World Federalist Movement, claim that nations should cooperate because their long-term mutual interests are of greater value than their own individual short-term needs.
Internationalism is by nature opposed to ultranationalism, jingoism and national chauvinism as well as to strictly economic globalization movements which deny the value of other nations' culture and differences. Internationalism presupposes the recognition of other nations as equal, in spite of all their differences, in total respect of each other's nationalism.
International socialism was one of the original ideals of the communist movement, but internationalism is not restricted to the far left. The right-wing desire for economic globalization achieves similar ends, but with different political goals. More and more, the left speaks of a globalization of solidarities.
One of the ideals of many internationalists is movement towards World Government. Examples of bodies formed through internationalism are the United Nations and the European Union, and can be seen as progress towards such a goal.

World Federalist Movement
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.
The World Federalist Movement (WFM) is a global citizens movement with member and associated organizations around the globe. The WFM international secretariat is based in New York City across from the United Nations headquarters. Founded in 1947 in Montreux, Switzerland, the Movement brings together organizations and individuals committed to the vision of a "just world order through a strengthened United Nations." WFM has ECOSOC consultative status at the United Nations. It currently has 23 member organizations and 16 associated organizations, and counts 30,000 to 50,000 supporters.
WFM calls for an end to rule by force by creating a world governed by the rule of law. This objective would be accomplished by strengthened and democratized world institutions that would have plenary constitutional power. World Federalists support the creation of democratic global structures accountable to the citizens of the world. They advocate a world government based on the principles of federalism. World federalism calls for the division of international authority among separate agencies, a separation of powers among judicial, executive and parliamentary bodies. |

A global government would be a good thing.
WHEN THE PLANET IS READY FOR THAT....
In the meantime, we'll just keep our sovereignty, thank you very much. _________________ 13F20P |

"Social justice" is the antithesis of Rule of Law, since those enforcing "social justice" will bend the law to meet their needs. Witness affirmative action which discriminates on skin color, something that used to be quite illegal.
Hitler called for a "just world order" - of course, ruled by the Natonal Socialist Party.
One man's "Social Justice" is another man's Concentration Camp.
