Found this site googling for info on the traitor;
I'm Chuck, AF vet from Dec 73 to Aug 77, served stateside, Intell Ops Specialist and Crash/Firefighter Protection Specialist. Dad (deceased, at age 54, poss. Agent Orange?) was a Vietnam Vet, Bronze Star, US Army. He didn't talk about it, just told me to join the Air Force because they had better chow and quarters! Cousin in law also a Navy Seal, two tours, real Silver Star, doesn't talk about that either. Funny how the real heroes never want to to talk about it, isn't it?
Keep up the pressure, Swiftees! I don't know any vets I've talked to that would cast a vote for Kerry, so where does he get his alleged support? |

Sound advice from your father about the food and quarters. I would welcome you aboard, but I am not even Navy, much less a Swiftie. Welcome anyway. |

Welcome Chuck.
Your father sounds like he was a wise man, especially the
advice about food and quarters.
WeŽd eat at Subic Naval base (enlisted chow hall back then), and then go over to Clark AFB to eat in the enlisted dining facility. We came to the
conclusion the AF had their priorities right.
The only time I learn about what medals a hero has is either
when he dies or when a reporter pries it out of him for a story.
And then thereŽs John Kerry.
