Did you see the veins in O'Reilly's forehead burst during the exchange they just had. I think she overwhelmed him. Also O'Reilly said that Dan Rather will be on tomorrow night. This ought to be good. _________________ Gary Armitstead

I thought it was a good exchange, wish they had more time. She could have nailed him on the Swift Vets if she had the facts about his treatment of them.
There is no way Rather will be on Bill's show, he is just wishing for it to happen. |

I can't believe he's going to have Rather on. If he EVEN agrees with that 'oh yeah, so the memos were false, but the STORY is true' crap that's it. BOR will have become Dan Rather.
Realize...no MSM network anchor has even sympathized with Rather. In fact it was ABC who stuck the knife in yesterday. What will that say about BOR? |

All BOR wants is the apperance that he is "fair and balanced" ..this no spin zone crap is just that..he is the biggest spinner there is. Laura tried to tell him that without those of us who watch, he would be nowhere..however, he is losing me as a viewer. I will wait for H&C now. Enough of BOR. Laura is fantastic. Everytime she brought up the point that he should stand up..and look out for us like he claims to do he almost bursted with anger...But the clincher for me?
He said that and I quote, " I do not believe that Kerry would roll over for the terrorists"..That is enough for me to hear. He is a Kerry supporter, ever since no WMD were found in Iraq..get over yourself BOR..I have, and I have a feeling many like me will too..sad day for me..good one for Laura..and letting BOR know that the "spin stops HERE for me"..

I think this was just about the best I've ever seen Laura -- what was really great about her tonight was how honest she was and how she spoke the truth and speared BOR with it, right between the eyes!! tirelessly, gave no ground. She's SO RIGHT with him "being different" and having lost the "fair edge," so to speak. I've tolerated him over time, sometimes liking him and sometimes not -- but he has changed, and I date it back to the night I first heard him mention the SBVFT -- and when he automatically dismissed them in a really ugly way it really shocked me.
....Because, as he said tonight, he "wants to do his own research" (re: Rather) and won't condemn anyone, etc, blah, until he researches.... he has always spouted that, and generally, he has done that saying, well we'll get back to this, or we'll look into this... and that was what I had expected from him re SBVFT.
BUT, when the Swiftees came on the scene, he immediately condemned them totally -- that was back in May. He had John on 9/7 -- before which he "researched for 3 weeks." That means, from May thru Sept, without reading the book or doing any research of any kind, he had continually dismissed and slandered and condemned the Swiftees.
So, with the disparity in his "needing to research CBS" before he makes any kind of "a stand" on the matter -- and the way he treated the Swiftees without any research -- he still has very very little credibility as far as I'm concerned -- and he has a long way to go with regards to "finding himself again." Hopefully in the future, Laura can get him on this inconsistency......... (and see if he can squirm out of it.....)
Does anyone have her email address? I think I'd like to give her this idea! |

I think Laura should be Bill's replacement. (Sorry, I cannot call Bill BOR since in my mind that means Bill of Rights or our Constitution).
Bill gained my support during the 2000 elections and the questions he kept raising about the legal B.S. that the Gore team was pulling.
Somewhere afetr that Bill started to change and it seems his true colors might be shining through, _________________ Mad as Hell! |

I just emailed Laura and thanked her for taking up for us normal people and the truth, which is more than BOR is doing right now. I think she is great. |

I started listening to Laura a couple of months ago. She has a great show. She talks politics and is also very entertaining. She makes a great up-beat way to start the day.
BOR seems to have forgotten where he came from. He has certainly forgotten who is audience is. It is almost like he is a different person from what he was say a year ago. I've stopped watching him unless someone like Laura is on. Life is too short to listen or watch painful people like BOR. Hannity or Bret Hume now are my favorites. I do use the mute button a lot on Combs!
I do wonder if the BOR radio show has made his life too overloaded. If you think he is bad on TV, don't listen to his radio show. He hasn't made a dent in Rush's rating and has relatively few listeners. I wondered at the beginning why he went into radio in competion with Rush. (At least in the San Diego market.) Perhaps he thought he would ultimately be a more liberal alternative. |

I used to watch O'Reilly every night, but not anymore. His ego has gotten too big. His show has, in my opinion, gone downhill. I now watch Lou Dobbs instead. |

The only reason we got the piece about am radio is because Bill is pissed because Hannity beat him in the ratings. Bill's ego is huge. It makes one wonder if his old man was alive if he would slap Bill upside the head. |
