I tried several other C-Span videos and they aren't working either. Must be a temporary glitch at C-Span. |

Outstanding and BZ to the folks who pressed to get it posted!
I was there and now I can share the experience with a whole lot of other vets, non-vets and AD who couldn't make it by passing the link on.
Did you notice the links name? I guess whoever put it together at C-SPAN just called it ....._bushvets.rm. Is it possibly the person just "assumed" it was a "GW" rally?....
I think I saw about 2 or 3 Bush-Cheney T-shirts and stickers in the whole motivated crowd and I'm pretty dadgum observant...
BTW, I do support GW- but on that day, listening to those speakers, all I had on my mind was soaking it in and reinforcing why John Kerry can't be CIC for what he did, what he didn't do and what he continues to do.....LIE! |

Sure did! Got to see all but the last 30 min because the
link to the server died -- probably on CSPAN's side,
but none of the speakers even mentioned W -- atleast
by name. All I can say is WOW! If you don't tear up
watching this, you're not human.
Thanks Carol et al for making the video possible!
I ripped O'neill's speech into an mp3:

Well, they finally got the video available -- and if you know what to search, you can find it at C-Span. However, they need emails from us to protest that this event is NOT INCL. in the "recent programs" listing, which lists all events by date. You scroll down and thru 9/12 and nothing. Was this, or was this not a "recent program?" And considering it lasted about 3 hours, surely it should be included on the list. |

All I was able to do is to get it in downloading phase but it never completed the download. My real player is working for other downloads so this is probably a problem with Cspan.
One concern is how many people will ever see this video clip unless it is easier to access and Cspan schedules its showing again. Suggest we contact Cspan for better access, does Cspan make available their programs on dvd/vhs so individuals, libraries, cable channels, etc. can get it. In today's highly charged political climate I can't trust Cspan which I consider a liberal outlet.

Yup...looks like CSPANs video servers are not
online, and that's why I want to--at the very least--
rip an MP3 of all of the important speeches from the rally
(I did this for O'Neil's speech already in this thread and R&R)
and serve them elsewhere (ie, my site).
It should be no surprise to anyone the MSM--esp. Rather and BOR--
"CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH." S0...we have to make sure we
get the message out. An mp3, in my view, is the best way to
do that-- you just download into your IPOD or similar, or
even better, burn a few CD-ROMs and pass them out at work,
or the mall, or wherever.
(suggestion: Label them "THE TRUTH")
