Are the Casualty Reports new or old? Is this part of the new cache of documents from Navy Archives?

Short's description of the 20Feb event is very terse. Surely the interviewer obtained a fuller description of where and when, preceding events and subsequent events? Has Short elaborated on his story? What did he "blabber" to the Boston Globe reporter?

Is Short a weak link in Kerry's story?

Chief, I knew a sadistic drill instructor once who was a lot like you. You deserve accolades for your detailed study. But, if this is going to be an "only when it rains" yarn, I'll give you my usual answer now: har, har, har. If you're getting at the date of the photo and the fact that Kerry has a PH while Thorson and Short do not, I'll wait. I haven't yet caught on to what you're driving at but my eyes are beginning to bug out again. Don't disappoint all of us who follow this saga closely.
