Today, most of the press is reporting that ´John Kerry´s FBI records
have been released.
This is incorrect. The FBI records on the Vietnam Veterans
against the War have been released, that mention Kerry
in different places.

The FBI file on Kerry himself has not been released and cannot
unless the candidate authorizes it. He should authorize these
files to be released as well.

Additionally, not all medical or military records on Kerry
have been released, contrary to what the Kerry campaign
people are saying.

For the ¨experts¨ in this area, where am I wrong?

I just did a google news search on this and can find no sources claiming that Kerry's full records have been released. They're all very clear that FBI records pertaining to VVAW have, most all of them reporting this in the headline and all of them posting this in the main body.

As for Kerry not releasing all his records, which ones hasn't he released? Nobody here can seem to answer this one.

I spent most of today waiting for a medical appointment and
ended up watching TV news. Most commentators I heard
used the phrase ¨Kerry´s FBI files.¨ They should have
been saying the FBI files on the VVAW.
Point was that the FBI files on Kerry himself have not been
released.
Also, as far as military and medical files, I believe the files
that have been released have been cherry picked and do
not include all documents. All fitness reports, to start with,
both while on active duty and in the reserves. And of course
all medical records should be released.

John O´Neill stated at the
National Press club press briefing that all John Kerry has to do
is sign a 2-page Standard Form 180 and DOD will release ALL
military and medical records. Kerry´s Ready Reserve records
should also be released (during the time he was required to
drill at a navy reserve center after he was released from active
duty...and still subject to the UCMJ during his 6 year obligation, i.e.
3 years active (he was released early), 2 years Ready Reserve, 1 year Standby Reserve).

By the way, I am not a Swift Boat Vet. But I am a Navy vet and
served during this entire period. I will never forget what Kerry
and his ¨brothers¨ in the VVAW organizaiton did. You are known
for who you hang out with and some of the radicals Kerry hung out with were real losers. Some in the VVAW were imposters and never served in the military or got anywhere near Vietnam.
