yes - on the news tonight. I hope they straighten that mess out. I remember a while back they were trying to charge some of the wounded for their stays at Walter Reed. I think the attention made sure they corrected it. I don't mind when the MSM reports on these things to bring attention to them, as long as they make sure they show a soldier saying he can't wait to get back there!

Typical bureaucrats. When Kerry/Edwards say "help is on the way" they mean that they want to turn our medical system over to them. Their slogan should be "Hell is on the way."

I saw this on the news tonight. Absolutely outrageous.

What's more, it is pretty clear that the formula for calculating how we TAKE CARE OF OUR TROOPS who are disabled is seriously flawed.

This is a national shame and a very serious tragedy.

DFAS Strikes again!! (Defense Finnance and Accounting Service)
Those people need to have a major attitude adjustment come their way fast and hard! Of all the idiotic decisions!! Good God, it isn't like the Soldier asked to have his kidney removed because of a mortar attack!!
I went through some battles with those people my last couple years in the Army, and when they mess up it is like trying to get the IRS to admit to a mistake!

Hey guys, check out the truth train post and then think about killing two birds with one stone. Collecting for these vets and bringing knowledge along the routes? Just an idea.
