I know - it was really funny!

You can buy a LOT of memory for cheap, these days! Wink Geesh, did Koppel did not know that this would be THE most easily questioned aspect of this stupid exercise in attempting to discredit Swifts?
.....

are you talking brain cells or computer chips here? I need both.... could this be why I have to 'listen' to about 2 lines.... then wait... and listen to about 2 more lines.... then wait.... etc? Surprised

or is my hearing just slow?

WOW! That was fast! Laughing

Thank you very much! Laughing I will try that! Laughing

Be Back Later.

BTW: Listening to CSPAN. Heard a snippet of Tony Blair in front of Parliment. . .Is he "da man"! Laughing

Someone (a "legislator") tried to state that the war in Iraq was "wrong" because of "no WMD" and "bad Intel" and that Tony Blair was wrong and "he should apologize."

Gee, haven't we heard that one before. Rolling Eyes

He essentially said, "the war was right. . .and he stands by it."

I wish I could pass the quote along, it was beautiful. Very Happy

Again, thank you very much sround! Very Happy

Re:Stevie

Are you trying to listen as a stream or are you downloading the mp3?
To download, you just right click and a menu pops up, and then
you can save the mp3 file. If you don't have lots of bandwidth to
spare, saving the file by downloading is the way to go.

Actually, it would be more accurate to state 'playing as a stream'
is actually playing the mp3 within the browser. In fact, the mp3
does get downloaded into a temp file on the hard disk, but you
can't (normally) access it. That's why it's better to right click
and select "save target as" (or similar --depends on the OS).
When you click on the file, your player app will then play the mp3 and
not the flimsy plug-in player in the browser.
Does that make sense? We're here to help! Wink

Thanks, sround!!!

Also a transcript just for the interview portion in the transcripts thread. I haven't seen the video. But you'd particularly need that for the 'backgrounder', the first part.
