After the Nightline episode, someone posted a note here asking who Joe Bangert was. The name sounded familiary, so I looked in my blogg and
now I know why I remembered the name. He has to be one of the most dispicable humans of the face of the earth.

I'm posting the links to Joe Bangert but want to warn enyone reading them. the language is horribly foul and offiensive. There is also a picture
of Bangert at the Democratic National Convention with Kerry.

What I did is none of your concern. I'm okay with Viet Nam- there the
war is way over, it is here that closure has not occurred. I have many
friends over there as well as here. My friends over there include many
former PAVN soldiers who once fought against me- their friendship is a gift which I cherish-
I don't pretend you are my enemies today- but you sure act it. Think about this. I'll take them anyDAY over most of you. And that is a fact. 11#11

For the person who asked if someone in the Kerry camp spoke Vietnamese....I think this answers the question.

Bangert posted this song, which is the Viet Cong anthem on usenet at alt.vietnam. He seems to spend a LOT of time trolling and harassing the Vietnamese in this country who post there:

English Translation

Soldiers of Vietnam, we go forward,
With the one will to save our Fatherland.
Our hurried steps are sounding on the long and arduous road.
Our flag, red with the blood of victory, bears the spirit of our country.
The distant rumbling of the guns mingles with our marching song.
The path to glory passes over the bodies of our foes.
Overcoming all hardships, together we build our resistance bases.
Ceaselessly for the people's cause we struggle,
Hastening to the battle-field!
Forward! All together advancing!
Our Vietnam is strong, eternal.

Soldiers of Vietnam, we go forward!
The gold star of our flag in the wind,
Leading our people, our native land, out of misery and suffering.
Let us join our efforts in the fight for the building of a new life.
Let us stand up and break our chains.
For too long have we swallowed our hatred.
Let us keep ready for all sacrifices and our life will be radiant.
Ceaselessly for the people's cause we struggle,
Hastening to the battle-field!
Forward! All together advancing!
Our Vietnam is strong, eternal.

Isn't it past time to "OUT" these kinds of unsavory (despicable?) characters who are closely associated with Kerry's campaign - if not externally, at least on this site? Maybe something on the main page (or other prominent location) that provides a background "biography" for such vermin? To include Bobby Muller, Scott Camil, and now this guy. Who else?

Added after first post: I just remembered that Beatrice1000 has done almost exactly this, and it is posted under "stickeys" in the Research and Resources forum. But I think it needs a MUCH more prominent location on the overall site.

Why not? As the cheesy punks say, "they're fair game."

lol ...well, as long as it's fair game, we might as well ask about that
pesty little rocket launcher Kerry said that was used by the kid he shot.

Was there really a VC with a rocket launcher? In that same 2001 interview with CNN's Jonathan Karl there was this exchange:

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/1133600/posts

KARL: And you still have the rocket launcher?

KERRY: I do have the rocket, yes, I do have the rocket. One of the SEALs disarmed it for me, and I brought it home.

Ask Senator Kerry to immediately produce the B-40 launcher he says he has at home before the media, and perhaps asked to explain how he was able to get such an prohibited item through military customs in Vietnam in 1969. The Military was very strict with inspections and with what you could take home with you. Military Customs would confiscate even spent .50 cal shells from those who tried to sneak them home through their baggage.
