GO DRUDGE! Exposed again, Sunshine State DNC says it is ok to pick up ballets. They tried to explain the first one in Colorado. What will the spin be this time. Our prayers are being answered and everything is being shouted from the mountain tops or at least from DRUDGE MOUNTAIN.

They need to start arresting anyone who shows up with a ballot that does not have their name on it.

Have a couple of police at the site.

I am really sick of the Democrats fraud and attempt to subvert the will of the people.

It reminds me of a ruthless dictatorial regime. The difference is while in such regime there are "two" parties where one is belong to regime, the other was a silent party. Imagine the US where the only party were the Democrat.

Scary!

If we have to live with a democratic party in control, we won't have the right to free speech any more.

From the Drudge report:

The DNC Kerry/Edwards manual states:

"In Florida, it is legal to handle ballots. This means it is possible for the campaign to canvass base neighborhoods, pick up completed ballots and deliver them to Early Vote locations. We will incorporate these deliveries into our Early Vote canvassing program."

But Florida State election law - as detailed at: http://election.dos.state.fl.us/absenteevoting.shtml - is in sharp contrast and conflicts with the Dem plan.

"A designee may pick up an absentee ballot for a voter on election day or 4 days before election day. A designee may only pick up two absentee ballots per election, other than his or her own ballot or ballots for members of his or her immediate family. Designees must have written authorization from the voter, present a picture I.D. and sign an affidavit. Candidates may pick up absentee ballots only for members of their immediate family."

The problem, as I see it, is the DNC will get away with this in
precincts that are run by Democrat officials and Poll Workers.
They simply will overlook the requirements of the Election Law,
and accept any and all ballots. Who's to know that the requirements weren't enforced?

Sure hope the RNC has observers in all polling places at all times
to verify the receiving of Absentee Ballots, and that they were accepted
according to the requirements laid out in the law.

Sadly, I think that this is a red herring--The provision that Drudge is quoting is from the instructions for requesting an absentee ballot (see Title X, Chapter 101, 101.62 in the Florida statutes at http://www.flsenate.gov/Statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&Search_String=&URL=Ch0101/SEC62.HTM&Title=->2004->Ch0101->Section%2062#0101.62), not for returning it--

The only thing that I can find in the statutes WRT returning the completed ballot is in item 101.65 ( http://www.flsenate.gov/Statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&Search_String=&URL=Ch0101/SEC65.HTM&Title=->2004->Ch0101->Section%2065#0101.65 ) which says

Quote:
9. Mail, deliver, or have delivered the completed mailing envelope. Be sure there is sufficient postage if mailed.

and I don't see anything anywhere that restricts who can deliver them or how many a person can deliver--

IOW, I think the we.......meaning the American citizenry.......are screwed on this point 'cause I don't think any challenge will hold-up--C

** sigh **
