If there is a devastating October surprise, now's the time for it. Kerry is practically driving voters to the polls in Florida. Predictably, the voter registration confirmation software in Broward County has gone belly-up, but we can't count on that lasting forever.

And the New York Times cooperated by its conveniently timed little lie about Bush wanting to privatize Social Security...trying to scare people into believing that Bush will push Grandma off the cliff in a wheelchair.

Meanwhile, is there anyone under 50 naive enough to believe they will see dime one from Social Security???

Hopefully, the Bush campaign will wake up in time and address this issue! I already E-mailed them about it, but it might take a massive effort!

No changes in Social Security can be made unless a bill passes both houses of Congress. With the Democrats having changed the rules for a majority from 51 to 60 in the Senate, the likelihood of this is very, very poor.
