about everything. I have seen time and again, that the liberal left can pass judgement and make statements as they see fit. It is only when they get as good as they gave that they become "sensative"!!

Surprised

It's a Liberal show. Once upon a time I used to tune in, but John Kerry, Sen. Chris Dud and assorted other Clintonoid call-ins just were too much. Who in his right mind would run a Vegetarian cattle ranch. (Give him credit though for the purpose of the ranch. It is admirable.)

The years of Coke and Tequila burned out most of I-mans brain and bod. Now it's starting to show more and more.

On today's program he was very irritiable and predicted Kerry will loose the election. He criticized Kerry for the goose hunt. But Imus is a waffler although Never a supporter of George W. Bush, at least on the air.

I think celebrities like Imus, O'Reilly abuse the audience by making controversial remarks and decisions to increae their ratings. Regardless of their viewpoints I expect the listeners make up their OWN minds on who to vote for President.

Sorry, I assumed everyone was familiar with Don Imus. He is a popular radio personality in the New York/New Jersey market claiming 10 million listeners. His show is also carried by MSNBC in the 6 to 9am eastern time slot. His speciality is interviewing political figures and pundits and although his guests are tilted to the left many Republicans are also featured. (except for this week) My question: could Rick Kaplan be pulling the string with Imus in the same way he is using MSNBC as an arm of the DNC? It seems to me Mr. Kaplan is trying to keep Rathergate and Koppelgate out of the political discourse until after the election.

Years ago, 60s-70s Don Imus was a radio Rock jock. Then he saturated his brain and body with so much alcohol and Coke that he lost about a decade of conciousness. To his credit he dried out , faced it and admits it. These days he has become a caustic, cynical, crabby old coot(or F*rt if you like). It's time to retire and attend to the stuff he does that are of value.

A interesting point about Imus "Ranch" was made by his 'enemy' Howard Stern who noted that Imus ranch has a number of issues:

1) He has a very large "home" on the ranch paid by donations.

2) It serves a very very small number of kids for a very short period of time.

In other words, in terms of a charity, it has extremely high overhead costs and servers a very very small number of children while seemingly providing a beautiful extensive summer home for Imus.

Its not a very cost effective (in fact just about the 'worst') charity that has way way way too high overhead cost serving the founder in a inappropirate way.

Imus is a whore looking for money, end of story.
