but by definition any bombing that results in death is a "homocide bombing", wheras a suicide bombing implies that the bomber is a fanatic that is killing himself along with a selected target.
calling it a homocide bombing seems silly to me, and makes it sound less inflammotory in a newscast. |
Their main goal is to kill innocent people and calling them a homocide bomber points this out. They are not walking out into an empty street and simply blowing themselves up and not hurting others to draw attention to their cause which "suicide bomber" implies. |

The best reason for calling it a "homicide bomber" is that "suicide bomber" reinforces terrorists' belief they are doing something honorable.

Yes but to them killing yourself for Islam means a trip to Paradice with 72 virgins.It is funny how it is always old men who tell the young guys to die for Islam and they will go to Pardice and get the virgins.Why don't the old men do it if they believed it? |
