I know something, and there will be an October surprise.
The Red Sox are going to the World Series. That alone qualifies as an October surprise.
Game 7 will be on Halloween night. Check it out.
Will the BoSox join in the spirit of things and "Reverse the Curse"? That will provide ample opportunity for sKerry to gratuitously inject himself into a subject he knows absolutely nothing about (Remember Manny Ortez?). He will show up, uninvited, at Fenway Park.
If the Red Sox lose, his long face will be plastered all over FOX TV. Millions of fans will be reminded what a loser he really is and vote accordingly.
Hopefully, though, the Red Sox will win. Boston will throw them a huge victory parade, which traditionally is held on the Tuesday following the final game.
At least that's the way it happened in 1918.
Millions of fans will jam City Hall Plaza, just as they did earlier this year for the Super Bowl champion New England Patriots.
The Tuesday after Halloween is Election Day. Dutiful Republicans will vote early and go to the rally. Democrats will sleep in and skip their civic duty. sKerry will lose Massachusetts, and thus the election.

It's not AN October Surprise - it's a series of them.
The Senator has had a snitstorm follow wherever he goes, dropping on him whatever falls from snitstorms... little by little... every chink in the armor hurts.
Water torture, drop.... drop..... drop..... splash..... drop...... drop.... splash....
It's all adding up.
Your vote against him (yes, YOURS, personally! ) is the biggest October surprise of all.
He'll just get it delivered a couple of days late - along with the millions of others who reject him completely and irrefutably and permanently. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~

Could be an October surprise. Could be a November surprise.
Surprise! Surprise! Surprise!
I plan to be watching Katie Couric on November 3 to see her surprise at the Bush landslide. _________________ I was going to become an anarchist, but they had too many rules. |

Kerry and the [deleted] wife do themselves in each and every day each time they open their mouths. By the time they get done, they'll be lucky if anyone votes for them.
Let's name a few things that many reasonable Americans won't vote for:
Death due to appeasing terrorists instead of fighting and killing them
UN Permission to defend ourselves
International Criminal Court treaty
Kyoto Treaty
A traitor as CIC
A lawyer as CIC
[Deleted] first lady from S.Africa
Insults at lesbians
Insults at First Ladies
That's just a few. I could go on and on.
Admin note: Regardless of how one may act, we do not make disparaging remarks about family members of candidates here. Thank you. _________________ Sister to a Marine vet who served in Vietnam and proud of it.

The very first baseball game my dad took me to was at Fenway. The BoSox were playing the Yankees. It was September of 1961, and Maris was on his way to 61 (although that happened a week or so later, as I recall). It was Yaz's rookie year. Mantle was sick that game, I think. I was only 10, and I had no idea I was watching history happening at the time.
I've always had a soft spot for the BoSox, but now that I'm older and wiser, I prefer Kentucky Wildcats hoops.
