John Kerry is:

A. Sportsman
B. Red Sox Fan
C. Man of Faith
D. None of the Above

In the closing days of the election John Kerry is trying very hard to shake the liberal label. Today he is out hunting in Ohio in his camos. He has talking about how happy he is about the Red Sox's victory over the Yankees. On October 4th he came out to endorse funding for faith based organizations to receive some public funding.

But the answer is 'D' none of the above.

Kerry is No Sportsman.

Voted for every major piece of gun control legislation since taking office. He has been endorsed by major gun control organizations. Endorsed by major antihunting organizations. Reviled by all major gun rights organizations. Gets a zero score out of 100 from the NRA and get a 100% from the Humane Society our country's largest antihunting organization. He support taxing ammunition. He supports cities that sue gun manufacturers. He has voted to close off hundreds of thousands of acres to hunters and sportsmen.

Kerry is No Red Sox Fan

Kerry: Against Sports Before He Was For Them

Kerry No Fan Of Spectator Sports. "[St. Paul School officials unearthed a speech] Kerry gave for the Concordian Literary Society that won top prize. It was titled 'Resolved: that the growth of spectator sports in the western world in the last half of the century is an indication of the decline of western civilization.'" (Kranish, Mooney and Easton, John F. Kerry: The Complete Biography By The Boston Globe Reporters Who Know Him Best, 2004, p. 27)

Kerry's Red Sox Balks

Kerry, So-Called Red Sox "Fan," Praises Yankees. "At the fundraiser, Kerry reflected on his reborn self. He praised the triple victories of the Jets, Giants and Yankees and said: 'I came here to bask in your glory, came here to grab onto that winning streak.'" (Hanna Rosin, "The Kerry Camp, Cautiously Giddy," The Washington Post, 9/22/04)

Kerry Messed Up The Name Of Boston Red Sox All-Star David Ortiz Calling Him "Manny Ortiz." "Back to the gaffe. Not since Ted Kennedy called Mark McGwire 'Mike McGwire' has a politician butchered a ballplayer's name as badly as Kerry did yesterday. Referring to the Sox players in tonight's All-Star Game, Kerry said 'Manny Ortiz.' He then corrected himself: 'David Ortiz and Manny Ramirez and Curt Schilling and others may be off at the All-Star Game and they're taking a break, but John Edwards and I aren't taking any break.'" (Carol Beggy And Mark Shanahan, "Richards Dishes Humor; Kerry Charge With An Error," The Boston Globe, 7/13/04)

Kerry is No Man of Faith

Kerry has been against faith based initiatives. He is against voluntary prayer in schools. Against school vouchers. He is against using public money for anything but secular charities. Against measures to protect marriage.

Voting their faith

Some blacks say Bush's personal faith, initiatives match their views

BY ALLISON KENNEDY

A national survey released Tuesday says black voters have doubled in their support for George W. Bush since the 2000 election -- from 9 percent to 18 percent. Dale Williams is one of them.

Here are the main issues that sway the married father of two toward Bush for president:

• Faith-based initiatives;
• Amendments that spell out male-female marriages only;
• Voluntary prayer in schools.

So while John Kerry is trying very hard to shake his liberal label remember that he is neither Sportsman, Red Sox Fan or Man of Faith. Wink

He is all of the above. Just ask him--he can do it better--with his secret plan.

He reminds me (especially in the debates) of a guy in a bar trying out his pickup lines. He is so debonair and persuasive that the girls listen and think this guy may be their knight in shining armor, as opposed to Bush, who is humble and not a smooth talker, but very genuine in his heart. I listened to what Kerry said in the first debate, and although he did win on style, Bush was right on with substance. Afterwards I remember hearing nuclear fuel to Iran, no more bunker busters, our coalition in Iraq is almost worthless, and we should keep area giants like Japan and China out of the North Korea nuclear talks---crazy ideas just spoken with a golden tongue.
