I love these ideas. I have been wondering how to keep my lonely Bush sign from being stolen. I have an enormous yellow ribbon on an enormous tree at the front of my yard. That may be why the sign is still here. Having a motion detector "scarecrow" (water spritzer attached to garden hose to keep deer or neighborhood dogs/liberals out of yard) might also be a deterrent. Wink

I had trouble with teenage punks using my yard as a cut-threw. They were climbing my new fence and tearing the hell out of it. Everytime I confronted them they would cuss me out and tell me to F-off.

Well, I got damn mad as I could not stop it and I can't threaten kids as an adult even if they deserve it.

Then I was packing wheel bearings on my car one day with black molybendum grease and a light bulb went off! I smeared the whole top of the fence in the back of my yard where they could cross over.

I used to go out and watch them the first few times to see them get all greasy.

I think molybendum on the edges of a Bush sign might makes someone think twice about grabbing more up. They will have to get back in their car with greasy hands and clothes. Imagine if they get caught and the cops find grease all over them and their car!

Molyubendum grease is really nasty black sticky gooey stuff. It does not wipe off easy and it stains clothes if not removed. It also does not wash out easy andthe clothes will be ruined as would car interior parts.
