It has been my pleasure to donate to the Swiftvets during this Presidential Campaign. As a Vietnam Era veteran (not war zone) this accounting for the arrogant anti-war forces has been a long time coming.
I entered college in late 1964 just in time to suffer these people for many, many years. Certainly deep in my heart I knew they were wrong and I suspect that deep in their hearts they knew they were wrong--it was all such a socializing thing with them--it went along with the drugs and the free sex.
The Swiftvets, in calling to the attention of the Country, the actions of John Kerry, who is seeking redemption for his treachery, have done a great service to America. I celebrate all of you.
Thanks, I feel satisfied for the first time in decades about that part of my life--watching all those cows coming home has been wonderful. |

Hey, great to have you bigchucksr!
Interesting take on the times - I've heard that before - it all went with the free love and the pot-smoke haze. _________________ ~ Echo Juliet ~
