Quote:
JOHN KERRY SAYS HE IS "PROUD" of his activities in opposition to the Vietnam War. Why, then, have he and his spokesmen consistently misrepresented them? Indeed the Kerry camp has been so effective in obscuring this history that both the New York Times and the Washington Post were forced to run corrections on the subject recently because their reporters relied on misinformation that the Kerry camp had succeeded in putting into wide circulation.

When the Swift Boat Veterans for Truth unveiled the fourth in their series of television ads--this one accusing Kerry of having "secretly met with the enemy" in Paris--both papers went into full debunking mode. The Post ran 600 words under the headline: "Ad Says Kerry 'Secretly' Met With Enemy; But He Told Congress of It." The story explained that the Swifties were "referring to a meeting Kerry had in early 1971 with leaders of the communist delegation that was negotiating with U.S. representatives at the Paris peace talks. The meeting, however, was not a secret. Kerry . . . mentioned it in testimony before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee in April of that year."

The next morning the Post ran a correction. The previous day's story, it noted, "incorrectly said that John F. Kerry met with a Vietnamese communist delegation in Paris in 1971. The meeting was in 1970." The correction did not acknowledge, however, that this apparently minor error invalidated the entire point of the Post's impeachment of the Swifties' ad. Kerry's visit to Paris took place in
or around May 1970, eleven months before his Foreign Relations Committee testimony. In other words, his meeting with the Communists (while he was still a reserve officer in the U.S. Navy) appears to have been kept secret for nearly a year.

And they're still getting away with it because, I guess, inquiring minds don't want to know... I just get the feeling sometimes that we're trying to have a conversation with a fence post.

The reason they [MSM] will not print the truth, is because they alongside the liberals have poisoned the media in this country. Remember during the cold war, Russia only told what it wanted to have it's people know, the same here. The MSM is so biased they can't see straight. It's only been with talk radio and the internet, they have not way to control their lies and agenda. When the truth his them, they back peddle and when it's out in the open, a bit more.
Sure Kerry met with the ememy, he told Congress.
Sure Kerry met with the enemy in 1970, he told Congress
Sure Kerry met with the enemy in 1970 in Paris, he told Congress he met with both parties.
Oh, both parties were the VC and North Viet Nam, he told Congess
Sure Kerry met both parties, what he was still a Naval Officer
Kerry was still under oath of commission.
Kerry came back and advocated their position
Kerry committed TREASON
MSM, their version 2 of JFK, the pathetic TRAITOR, then they turn their heads and say, we didn't have all the information.
I am flatly sick and tired of their lies and deceit.
I love to see all of them, the media and their boy, pack it up and be railed out of this country.
First, Kerry charged with TREASON and dealt with the way they did in the Revolutionary War.

With Kerry having met with agents of a foreign government, with whom we were in conflict, in 1970 PRECEEDING his Winter Soldier and other VVAW activities, why should he not be considered to have been an agent of the enemy? (His later having been praised by General Giap and his being honored in their war museum supports such conclusion).
It appears our ads and money have run their course but it sure would be good if some 527 could suggest he was a traitor. The dots are there to connect.

In a similar thread, Greenvale posted the following (excerpted);

"However, according to legal scholars, John Kerry's meetings with enemy agents from Communist North Vietnam on multiple occasions between 1970 and 1972 are not covered under EO 4483. For that reason, we delivered to U.S. Attorney General John Ashcroft on Monday of this week a "Petition for Investigation and Indictment," calling on the Department of Justice to determine conclusively whether Kerry's actions, in direct violation of UCMJ (Article 104 part 904), U.S. Code (18 USC Sec. 2381 and 18 USC Sec. 953) and other applicable laws and acts of Congress, constitute treason. (To read the text of the petitioners' request, go to http://patriotpetitions.us/kerry/letter.asp"

Thank you. At last, an answer to the question I have been asking. Can Kerry be tried for treason or is there a statute of limitations preventing it? Now all I have to do is pray it will happen.

Does that mean that John Kerry is proud that his actions probably extended the length of the Viet Nam War by an extra two years?
Does that mean that he is proud that his words caused additional suffering by our POWs and veterans and their families?
If he had done something like this 60 years ago or more they would have hanged his sorry arse.
