Gee, you suppose Katie will ask "John-Boy" any tough questions? _________________ "War is an ugly thing, but not the ugliest of things: the decayed and degraded state of moral and patriotic feeling which thinks nothing worth a war, is worse."

No thanks I think I will watch "Inside the Secret Service" on National Geographic instead _________________ Kerry was in Vietnam for only four months, which, coincidentally, is less than the combined airtime he's spent talking about it.

BOR is supposed to be doing a week long thing on the Kerry campaign, sort of an "inside the Kerry campaign' might be interesting. I do not watch much anymore but might tune in to see if he is going to show some interesting stuff. _________________ "...for the good of believing in life after birth..."

If Katie was "surprisingly tough" I think its only because she wants to try and shore up her reputation in light of a possible Kerry defeat. Katie, I didn't fall off the taco wagon yesterday and I'm not buying it. |

I dislike Katie Courick. I believe I made that point previously, in my usual inimitiable style. Unimiatible? Uninhabitable? Anyway. I spent the evening putting a new kitchen sink in. The evening, the afternoon, and half the morning. So, uh, I did fairly well except for one little problem: I can't use it. Seems I lack enough of the necessary PVC pipe.
Have you all ever replaced a garbage disposal? Well, I would like to state for the record that they are damn heavy, and hard to hold level with one hand while you use a screwdriver to slide that locking ring over.
I wouldn't care if I never see underneath a sink again, actually, but tomorrow I will be duty bound to go back in again.
I think I could have gotten the job done inone day but I lack one very necessary thing all plumbers must have--proper cleavage. _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |
