I thought the same thing at first, but when you reallly think about it, it isnt very flattering of Senator Kerry to once again be in secret meetings with what was likely one would consider our enemy or at least didnt support the United States. There is one part of the Wash. Times article that made me think more about this, here it is:
Quote: | An investigation by The Washington Times reveals that while the candidate did talk for an unspecified period to at least a few members of the panel... |
This in my opinion is worse than meeting with the whole Security Council, as it was probably meeting with those were were against the US positions, because Kerry said they replied to him "You've got to win this. You've got to beat this guy. We need a new policy." (if you can believe Kerry and this is in fact what they said, which should be taken with a grain of salt, knowing Kerry). Kerry, by not disclosing who he met with has made it even more suspect of him meeting with the powers of the UN who were involved with the UN oil for food scandal (France, Germany, etc.) and are essentially an enemy that doesnt and probably will not stand by the United States' side. By them telling Kerry "you've got to win this. We need new policy"--this has the strong potential of influencing Kerry and not standing for what is right for the US, thus while not treasonous, isnt radically different.

Where have we heard this before? Secret trips ito Cambodia ferrying secret CIA agents? So secret, even the Nixon Whitehouse didn't know? _________________ Clark County Conservative |

Kerry needs to go and have his head shrunk; he is seriously mentally ill.
Self aggrandizing lies, to make it appear as if he is more important than he is...way sick.
No one on here is shocked, because this is just a variation of a theme as far as you all can tell; but try to think like the people SBVFT have not reached, or who think the Swifties are just an arm of the Bush campaign. Or they feel as if, "yeah, okay, maybe it's true but it happened a long time ago." Well, this is not a happening lost in the mists of time.
This story will have legs. This story will hurt. _________________ The last refuge of scoundrels is not patriotism; it is finicky liberal humanitarianism.--Martin Paretz |

No, Lew. That's "closed meeting" as in Senate Intelligence Committee.
...that didn't register with MSM either. |
