“How do you ask a man to be the last man to die in Vietnam -– How do you ask a man to be the last man to die for a mistake?”
- John Kerry, from his 1971 appearance before the Senate Foreign Relations Committee

Kerry's reprehensible pack of slander has been touted as one of the most influential speeches in modern history, and unfortunately it probably is. This line is probably one of the best known from that speech (at least it was until the Swiftee's ad came along) and you can find it fawningly posted all over the net on lefty websites.

So today's news brings us the information that Kerry is in a habit of plagiarizing other people's words (http://www.nysun.com/article/3775)

Perhaps the reporter may be interested in this this propaganda flyer: http://www.landscaper.net/images/OffandMen.jpg
Check out the last line and note the glaring similarity to kerry's aforementioned quote. According to the website where the flyer is posted http://www.landscaper.net/propgand.htm:
"Officers and Men of the 1st Air Cav Div
Compliments of Tom Hatfield
Tom Hatfield found this leaflet on an artillery hipshoot in Binh Dinh Province, probably west of Bong Song, circa August 1969."

There appears to be a date in the lower righthand corner of May 22, 1969. Kerry testified in 1971.
Looks like Kerry was either plagiarizing the North Vietnamese communists, or merely spouting their propaganda nearly word for word in his testimony like a good little sympathizer.
Either way, you think he would have given his heros some credit.
