This was apparently reported on Fox News tonight by Tony Snow. There is a thread on Free Republic about it. Did anybody see it? If Bush pulls Florida, he'll win because of the blue states Bush seems to have picked up.

It's in this thread. Farther down, the Kerry Spot at NRO is saying they find it hard to believe. Juan Williams was also there on set and seemed to agree. It does seem to good to be true.

Florida represents their last bastion, there is no way in hell they will relinquish it.

The only way we'll get Kerry and company out of Florida is with a restraining order.

P.S. being from Florida, most of my family will pull the lever for the right guy. That's at least 15-20 votes for Bush.

I think Clinton is doing the work for Kerry in Florida. Kerry figures he will do better than he can anyway.

I find it hard to believe Tony Snow would run with a faulty story. Even Juan Williams agreed with him. The Kerry camp won't pull out, but something must be happening. They may have decided not to make it their focal point. There are several reasons to think the Gallup poll showing Bush up 6 is not an oulier:

1) Bush has doubled his support amongst blacks.
2) Jeb is at an all time high in popularity.
3) Bush was there when Florida need help with the hurricanes.
4) The Jewish voters know Kerry is not their friend, and Ed Koch is there stumping for Bush now.
5) In the same vien, the Liberman factor is not in play this time.
6) The pan handle will not throw in the towel early this year.

I'm inclined to believe Snow got a hold of some info about Kerry intending to scale back ads and put two and two together. The Kerry camp will never admit it, and may indeed focus more on Florida now to avoid the impression.

Just my two cents.

the only way Kerry can pull this one out now is with a win in Ohio while holding Wisconsin and Iowa.

Not very likely.

LET US VOTE SO THE LAWYER MAFIA CANNOT CONTEST ANYTHING!!!

Well, the clues are there.

Cher at a Miami Bush bashing, has only a couple of hundred people show up.

Rosie o'Donnel has 38 people show up in Ft. Lauderdale.

Jeb won re-election in a landslide after Terry Mcawful made FL his number one priority.

These are the most conguested parts of the state. Sooooooo, Very Happy

w/o Florida, how can Kerry "win" or "steal" the election? I tend to agree even if they're rejiggering resources it's not going to be that significant.

By my calculations, Kerry can win PA, OH and Iowa and still lose the election. I think Bush will carry Ohio and Iowa so all is well. I'm not concerned about Florida. I think the focus will be on voter "supression" in Ohio, but I think the margin will be large enough that it won't matter...especially when Bush carries Florida.

I think what turned the tide in Florida was dmack and her triumph at the Battle of the Bingo Board.

If you haven't read that thread, titled "The Poll that Almost Was"--well, shame on you.

After a lot of watching and reading, I tend to believe the Kerry campaign is indeed pulling back a bit in Florida and is concentrating mostly on Ohio, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin. It seems like they may think their best chance at winning is to run the table in the upper Midwest. We need to pray, pray, pray for our like-minded friends throughout the Country!
